Our metal washers are round washers laser cut from 316 2B stainless steel and pre-galvanised steel. Thicknesses run from 0.9mm to 6mm in stainless and 0.9mm to 5mm in pre-galvanised steel, with clearance holes from M8 to M52 and outer diameters from 24mm up to 312mm. Every washer is manufactured to order, so you’re not limited to standard stock sizes.
Round washers sit around bolts and fastenings to spread load, protect surfaces and act as spacers within an assembly.

Can you make custom washers?
Yes. Every washer is laser cut to order in 316 2B stainless steel or pre-galvanised steel, so you choose the exact bolt size, thickness and outer diameter. Our average lead time is 3 to 4 working days. For a shape or size outside the standard options, use our Part Builder for an instant price.
What hole size do your washers have for each bolt size?
Each washer has a clearance hole sized for its bolt: 9mm for M8, 11mm for M10, 14mm for M12, 18mm for M16, 22mm for M20, 26mm for M24, 33mm for M30, 39mm for M36, 45mm for M42 and 52mm for M48, up to 56mm for M52.
How large can your metal washers be?
Outer diameters run from 24mm up to 312mm. Each bolt size comes in two outer diameters, a standard size at three times the bolt diameter and a large size at six times, for example 36mm or 72mm for M12, and 156mm or 312mm for M52.
Should I choose stainless steel or pre-galvanised steel washers?
Choose 316 stainless steel for wet, outdoor or coastal conditions, where its corrosion resistance matters most. It comes in 0.9mm to 6mm thick. Pre-galvanised steel has a zinc coating, costs less and comes in 0.9mm to 5mm thick, which suits general and indoor use.
